Meditation and Yoga

Nepal has a rich and diverse Spiritual heritage. Long famed for being the birthplace of Budda it has been a pilgrimage destination for well over 2000 years. The main religions of Nepal are Hinduism and Buddhism although there are many other religions and spiritual practices co-existing together ‘at the top of the world’. Many Nepali people daily regularly practise meditation and yoga.

In recent years a large community of Tibetan Buddhists have settled in Nepal as a secondary home since being outed from Tibet by the invasion of China. Often resident in Nepal are some of the most enlightened Tibetan masters sharing knowledge.

Legend has it that in the Himalayan Mountains ancient enlightened masters still live to hundreds of years old, imparting their knowledge for a healthy and happy life to the persistent spiritual seeker who can find them!
